Job Description:

The Business Risk and Control Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role requiring in-depth disciplinary knowledge. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, evaluates moderately complex and variable issues for development of approaches, and requires strong communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities include governance and execution of MCA, implementation of Monitoring Framework, identification of root cause, and working with teams on risk management. Requires 6-10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Job Responsibility:

Governance and execution of the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes
Implementation, maintenance and assessment of a complete, accurate and well-designed Control and Monitoring Framework
Provide support in the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommendations holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies, and support determining and reaching path-to-green for Technology
Work with the team to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories specific to the Markets Technology organization
Participate in Regulatory Management activities assigned to Markets Technology organization and help maintain a complete and accurate list of regulations applicable to the unit

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience with Risk & Control, Manager Control Assessment (MCA) and/or Technology
Background in Information Technology Risk Management (such as first line Technology Control Officer)
Detail oriented with strong organization and project management skills
Strong relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships various stakeholder groups (i.e. Technology, ICRM, IA, IBRC)
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, fluent English
Self-motivated and detail oriented
