Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in technology implementation to join our team covering United Kingdom and Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing digital projects and have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. This role demands excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Technology Project Manager is responsible for fostering strong deliveries between the business units and the Technology Department and plays a crucial role in tightening the gap between the business and technical teams within an organization ensuring that the organization's digital initiatives are delivered as per the value identified.

Job Responsibility

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Work together with the project managers and business engagement lead
  • Tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities and monitor progress
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Provide regular project updates and manage expectations

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of technology project management, product development, and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge in supply chain management would be advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in supply chain management would be advantageous
