We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in technology implementation to join our team covering United Kingdom and Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing digital projects and have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. This role demands excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Technology Project Manager is responsible for fostering strong deliveries between the business units and the Technology Department and plays a crucial role in tightening the gap between the business and technical teams within an organization ensuring that the organization's digital initiatives are delivered as per the value identified.
Job Responsibility:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Work together with the project managers and business engagement lead
Tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Assign tasks and responsibilities and monitor progress
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Provide regular project updates and manage expectations
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Anticipate and address issues before they escalate
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality
Conduct regular reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement
Provide weekly status checks and KPIs
Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, technology, and budget
Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency
Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and systems
Ensure all records are accurate and up to date
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of digital initiatives and their impact on business performance
Monitor the performance of implemented solutions, gathering feedback from users and making necessary adjustments
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of technology project management, product development, and emerging technologies
Knowledge in supply chain management would be advantageous
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus
Nice to have:
