Job Description:

Citi’s Internal Audit Technology team is seeking a Technology Product Owner to work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams. This intermediate-level role focuses on delivering end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise applications while ensuring clear communication, requirements management, and iterative product delivery under Agile methodology.

Job Responsibility:

Develop a deep understanding of the clients’ needs, both from a business and technology perspective, and translate them into product features
Act as a bridge between Business and Engineering Teams, ensuring clear communication of Product requirements and deliver them in iterations following an Agile Methodology
Work closely with Product Manager, Product Owners, Business stakeholders and Engineering team to build and prioritize the requirements backlog
Own and manage the Product backlog, create and refine Epics & User stories, acceptance criteria, and drive prioritization of user stories based on business value
Prepare for and execute Quarterly Planning ensuring that all epics and stories are properly created, refined, ranked, pointed, and coordinated with all cross-stream dependencies for delivery
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build user-friendly product features with optimized user experience through business process flow, user journey map and UI wireframe creation
Work in an Agile environment, driving sprints and releases ensuring timely delivery of product features with high quality
Partner with Scrum masters, Engineering teams, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth sprint execution
Adapt to change, anticipate and manage risk, remove impediments and accelerate time-to-market
Get user feedback on Product features to refine the backlog with an aim to improve customer experience.

Requirements:

Strong data analysis capabilities (SQL, dashboards)
Experience working on AI/ML-integrated products (e.g., Gen AI, predictive analytics) a plus
Workflow automation and complex business process design experience, a plus

Nice to have:

Experience working on AI/ML-integrated products (e.g., Gen AI, predictive analytics)

Agile Product Owner certifications, SAFe certification a plus
Previous experience working in a multinational financial institution
Internal Audit or Risk Management experience a plus.
