Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technology Product Owner to lead the technology strategy, roadmap and delivery for Marketplace products within Platform Architecture and Design. Based in VOIS India, this role focuses on translating product ambitions into viable, secure and scalable technology solutions, balancing innovation, cost, delivery and operational excellence. The role works closely with Line of Business (LoB) Product Managers, architects, delivery teams, vendors and operational stakeholders to ensure Marketplace platforms deliver measurable business value throughout their lifecycle.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the primary technology interface between the Marketplace team and LoB Product Managers
  • Own the technology product and platform strategy, roadmap and backlogs, ensuring alignment with technology standards, lifecycle guidance and operational feedback
  • Lead technology planning, incorporating mandatory technical debt, enablers, KTLO activities, security, data privacy and vendor roadmaps
  • Translate product capability requirements into buildable, feature-level requirements supported by end-to-end technical architecture, user journeys and service models
  • Progress new demands through impact assessment with Lean Portfolio Management, confirming delivery, cost and technology viability on behalf of the practice
  • Manage governance outputs, including EPIC definition, capability sequencing and New Product Development planning
  • Oversee product backlogs, prioritising enhancements, operational issues and in-life improvements in collaboration with delivery and operational teams
  • Manage budgets, costs and financial governance, maintaining continuous focus on value and cost optimisation
  • Coordinate local market integration, ensuring technical specifications align with local needs, SLAs and vendor requirements
  • Lead in-life technology product ownership, including service performance, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the creation of product collateral such as service specifications, SLAs and training materials

Requirements

  • An experienced Technology Product Owner with strong exposure to platform or marketplace-based products
  • Confident working across technology and commercial domains to translate technical solutions into clear product outcomes
  • Knowledgeable in SASE products, data privacy and security-by-design principles, with the ability to challenge vendor and operational inputs constructively
  • Experienced in backlog management, prioritisation and agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum or similar
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing across multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable owning in-life technology management, including KPIs, service performance and vendor cost management
  • Experienced in creating technical specifications, service models and operating models in partnership with business and technology teams
  • Educated to degree level in science, engineering or a related discipline, or with equivalent professional experience
  • Foundation SAFe Agile certified, with relevant domain technology qualifications considered beneficial
