Job Description

Technology Product Manager is responsible for supporting team in achieving its operational goals by running technology team projects, facilitating audits, and ensuring effective collaboration across departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, advanced SQL and Yardi knowledge, an understanding of fund accounting principles, strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills, and effective team management abilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively runs projects or initiates independently and drives Team-relevant system and process changes and enhancements
  • Provides his/her superior with constructive and meaningful solutions beyond their immediate area of responsibility and keeps on the oversight of all assigned tasks
  • Act as a hands-on manager by actively participating in function implementations, utilizing SQL and Yardi knowledge to ensure successful execution
  • Develop and support the team by providing a framework for adherence to procedures and policies, ensuring that Senior Officers and Officers receive adequate training and constructive support
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by supervising a small team, conducting regular 1:1s to engage with team members, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships while enhancing team knowledge and capabilities
  • Effectively interact with internal and external teams to advise and cooperate on new implementations and automations of existing processes
  • Serves as the escalation point for internal and external parties on unresolved servicing issues and concerns
  • Represents the team in platform-wide initiatives (e.g. handover, onboarding), provides solution-oriented guidance to stakeholders, and proactively voices potential concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
  • Highly capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 3-5+ years of Yardi experience with understanding of different modules
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Business oriented and outcome driven mindset
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong focus on team development and growth
