Job Description:

As the primary lead for Technology Workplace Services, you will oversee the daily operations and strategic management of the organisation’s digital workspace environment. This role balances the hands-on ownership of core collaboration platforms with the high-level coordination of outsourced service partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • End to End management of the Google Workspace Platform including Support, Development and Security
  • Platform Owner for the Soti Mobile Device Management platform. Working closely with service consumers in Retail, Online, Manufacturing and Logistics.
  • Accountable for the operational running of the following service lines using data driven metrics to drive performance: 3rd Line Desktop Support, VIP Support, Request Fulfilment (Workplace), Asset Management (End User), Build Deployment, Service Escalations for Workplace, Gold Stock Management
  • Own the product catalogue (orderable items) to ensure that a simple process is available to colleagues with accurate information
  • Ensure that Workplace incidents and requests are managed and resolved within SLA which includes both internal and outsourced teams. Ensure high quality information is recorded in the incident record and that knowledge is updated
  • Ensure ongoing internal and partner capability is maintained to deliver the services within scope of the Workplace area

Requirements:

  • Degree level (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining a high performance team
  • Supplier management & relationship experience
  • Preferred experience in Google Workspace
  • Preferred experience in Soti (or similar MDM)
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience of managing budgets and driving value through any spend
  • Be passionate about customer and service
  • Have a security mindset and effectively strike the balance between security and user experience
  • Focussed on prevention and improvement rather than tactical workarounds
