Job Description:

Position: Technology M&A Analyst (Internship). Start Date: March 2026. Contract: Internship. Location: Munich. Duration: ≥3 months. In order to support its strong execution pipeline and marketing efforts, the firm is currently looking to hire an Analyst Intern for a 3-to-12-month internship based in Munich.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support existing and upcoming transactions throughout the entire process, from kick-off to closing: Preparation of investment memoranda and presentations (industry study, strategic review, financial analysis)
  • Business plan modelling
  • Due diligence management
  • Support commercial & marketing efforts
  • Preparation of commercial presentations / pitches (screenings, company profiles, positioning, valuation, deal strategy)
  • Identification of new prospects
  • Participation in the preparation of sectoral research papers and other marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong academical background with a Bachelor or Masters degree
  • Ideally gained first international experience
  • Entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills and finance proficiency
  • Prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital funds
  • Interest in technology based transactions
  • Can handle pressure and work under tight deadlines, curious and analytical, a team player and like exposure to senior management
  • Written and spoken proficiency in German and English is a must
  • French or Spanish a plus
