Job Description

The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in mid-June with an in-depth education on the Analyst role’s fundamentals and the nuances of Citi’s culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, an informative speaker series, and networking opportunities. Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduating from university to become Full-Time Analysts and continue their career in technology.

Job Responsibility

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain physical infrastructure components, including data centers, server rooms, and associated hardware
  • Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of all technology infrastructure
  • Manage capacity planning and growth for computing and storage resources
  • Network Operations: Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of global network connectivity
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and security
  • Manage network devices, protocols, and services
  • Computing and Platform Management: Administer and support various operating systems (e.g., Unix/Linux, Windows) and virtualization platforms
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS) and related services, if applicable
  • Ensure proper configuration, patching, and security hardening of servers and computing environments

Requirements

  • Have active Hungarian student ID
  • Be graduating between Dec 2026 and July 2027
  • Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other tech related degree
  • Have Hungarian language knowledge
  • Have an interest working in a high-tech global technology environment and have the basic understanding of technologies, including by not limited to programing languages (C++, Java, etc.), application development, or basic concepts of relational databases
  • Understand the fundamentals of cybersecurity - if you prefer that track
  • Be a problem solver who thrives on innovation and enjoys tackling challenges head-on
  • Possess a global outlook and a willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones
  • Have excellent communication skills, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within diverse teams
  • Ability to pass technical interviews consisting of basic algorithmic programming exercises
  • Must be collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills
