Job Description:

The Technology Executive - Financial Crimes role involves delivering innovative technology solutions and leadership in support of Wells Fargo's financial crimes mitigation strategies. This includes modernizing enterprise systems, ensuring governance and compliance, and collaborating with senior leaders to achieve organization-wide objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
Develop and guide a culture of talent development

Requirements:

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience
4+ years of Management experience

Nice to have:

6+ years of experience working in a hands-on software developer or architecting end-to-end solutions
6+ years of experience working in large financial services organizations
10+ years of formal management experience
8+ years of experience in Financial Crimes technology
Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergetic attitude
Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications
Experience as a highly effective leader with credibility from demonstrating strong business and technology acumen
Experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a high-pressure environment
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experience with Agile transformations
Experience with Java, Big Data or Open Architecture stack
Experience in creating & delivering technology roadmaps
Experience in managing on-shore and off-shore teams
