Job Description:

Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is at the forefront of global B2B payments, processing trillions of dollars daily across 135+ currencies and 90+ countries for our largest corporate clients. A superior User Experience is paramount, driven by cutting-edge Reporting, Analytical, and Search capabilities delivered via our customer-facing web, mobile, and API platforms. To achieve this ambitious objective, Citi is undergoing a significant transformation guided by a three-pronged strategy of Agile Transformation, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and transitioning to a modern, microservices architecture through Cloud Migration. The role entails technical leadership in architecting, team management, stakeholder engagement, and operational governance over digital securities information reporting platforms.

Job Responsibility:

Define and champion the long-term architectural vision and roadmap for Digital Reporting Platforms
lead the successful migration of legacy systems to a modern, cloud-native, microservices-based architecture
drive the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-quality reporting, analytics, and search solutions
instill best practices in software development, architectural patterns, and engineering processes across teams
research and integrate emerging technologies, including Generative AI and NLP, to enhance platform capabilities and user experience
lead, mentor, and develop multiple diverse engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
oversee all aspects of personnel management, including hiring, performance evaluations, compensation, and career development
structure teams and allocate resources efficiently to maximize impact
prepare and present regular project and team reviews to senior management and business leaders, communicating technical strategy and progress effectively
collaborate extensively with product owners, business stakeholders, and other technology leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements:

15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and technology leadership, with a significant focus on large-scale enterprise platforms
8-10+ years of senior managerial experience, leading multiple engineering teams and managing budgets
proven track record of successfully leading major transformations from legacy systems to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures
deep expertise in designing and implementing Business Intelligence, Enterprise Reporting, and Search solutions, preferably within financial services
hands-on technical acumen with a problem-solver mindset, capable of diving into technical details to guide teams
excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders
solid understanding of the financial industry, including competitive products and services, with the ability to align technology strategy with commercial objectives
demonstrated leadership in managing change, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance within a regulated environment.

Nice to have:

Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI technologies
familiarity with Domain-Driven Design principles and implementation.
