Technology Controls Officer

• Support the design and development of Citi's comprehensive technology controls program
• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement, and helping to implement necessary changes
• Continually drive and manage technology controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk
• Help contribute to governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA)
• Assist in performing a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause
• Support the review and challenge process on the effective design and management of technology controls
• Help coordinate with key stakeholders to drive management decisions aimed at maintaining operations within the firm's Technology Risk Appetite
• Support the assessment for the business/function risk appetite in line with changes in the business environment
• Help collaborate with key stakeholders to assess potential risks and develop risk mitigation activities
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to control management
• Providing regular updates to senior management on the performance of the technology controls assessment and design

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other technology control-related functions in the financial services industry
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key technology risks and controls
• Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls
• Proven experience in technology control related functions in the financial industry
• Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes
• Understanding of compliance laws, regulations, technology frameworks and best practices
• Understanding of Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
