Job Description:

As a Technology Consultant Apprentice, you will establish and build data management solutions based on business and analytical requirements to integrate, govern, transform, and store data across distributed Azure cloud services, databases, and other applicable storage systems. You will leverage your understanding of Azure services, data governance principles, and analytics platforms to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable data pipelines and workflows. This includes working with Azure Purview for data governance, Azure Fabric for unified analytics, and Power BI for business intelligence to deliver actionable insights and cutting-edge data solutions.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with data management and analytics tools like Azure Purview, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema)
  • Exposure to handling various data formats like JSON, CSV, and XML for analytics and reporting
  • Leveraging AI tools like co-pilots to enhance efficiency and innovation in your projects
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, including metadata management and role-based access controls (RBAC)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and document data workflows and analytical pipelines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders
