Requirements:

  • Design, implement and follow up power, cooling, structured cabling and floor layout, by considering industry standards, requirements and best practices in line with the budget
  • Coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities
  • Communicate with internal customers to address their requirements and needs
  • Responding to customer specifications by working closely with Presales and sales teams
  • Creating installation plans in line with customer demands and addressing the necessary preparations on site
  • Coordinating with other teams and stakeholders to prepare white spaces in data centers for internal and external customer installations
  • Managing footprint, energy and cooling capacities in data centers according to installation plans and creating necessary investment plans
  • Carrying out processes to clarify internal and external customer demands, determine needs and ensure their supply
  • Plan and implement energy saving and cost cutting projects
  • Have good knowledge on data center physical infrastructure standards by global organizations TIA, ASHRAE, IEC..etc
  • Plan project work flows, project organization and timeline and make essential revisions in the project scope and timeline
  • Provision the cost of each design activity and forecast future site requirements
  • Make essential reporting to Vodafone Group IT, NW Core teams etc
  • Prepare periodic project progress reports/system status reports
  • Prepare the engineering plans and site technical design packages/specs. for infrastructure and energy systems
  • Generate floor layout and site cabling design
  • Do capacity planning on power and cooling infrastructures
  • Prepare technical product specifications and installation guidelines
  • Negotiate technical issues with vendors, manufacturers and suppliers
  • Coordinate installation/decommissioning/re-homing of infrastructure and energy systems at existing and new mission critical centers
  • Monitor/track/report progress of project plans/milestones
  • Implement assessment deliverables to boost site efficiency
  • Conduct and supervise installation subcontractors onsite
  • Communicate with stakeholders at NW, IT and other domains
  • Search new generation systems and best practices for OPEX saving and cost effectiveness
  • Improve the site efficiency, lowering the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) metric
  • Follow up the energy comsumptions of the technology centers
