The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, applications/model development, and system implementation
Monitor and control the full development lifecycle (analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation) and provide user/operational support
Apply in-depth application development knowledge to analyze complex issues, evaluate processes, and make informed judgments
Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation to ensure successful system design and functionality
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups, recommending advanced programming solutions and assisting customer systems
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and appropriately assess/manage risk, ensuring compliance and ethical practices
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, software application programming, and successful project implementation
In-depth knowledge of Onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
Proficient with Java Microservices, Oracle Database, and microservice architectures
Python proficiency is a significant advantage
Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing successful projects, coupled with working knowledge of consulting and project management methodologies
Proven ability to perform under pressure and effectively manage deadlines or shifting expectations and requirements
