Job Description:

Technology Apprentice | BSc Financial Technology. You will have access to first class technical and business training from well-established team, plus Citi’s online training portal. Side by side job shadowing and coaching with your team will be combined with the opportunity to work with Tech/Operations and Product peers in one of the world’s largest investment banks. You will gain valuable insight into the workings within technology teams and how they deliver for various functions within the bank. You will have exposure to new and cutting-edge technologies including big data plus the opportunity to experience different types of technology roles across the full SDLC from gathering business requirements through analysis, product & project management, software development and release management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Business Analysis & Project Management – using business knowledge to assist with data analysis, coordinating and documenting requirements gathering, liaising with developers, testers, and other technology teams throughout project lifecycles and working with a global and diverse range of people and systems across multiple business and technology units
  • Organisational and operational efficiency improvements - Nobody likes to repeat the same actions every day and click the same buttons, so our apprentices get involved in efficiency improvements to see where tasks can be automated or streamlined to free their time to get involved in exciting projects!

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths with a minimum grade C (or equivalent) and English Language with a minimum grade C (or equivalent)
  • A level grades BCC including A level Maths (or equivalent) or A level grades BBC without A level Maths (or equivalent)
  • Successful applicants will be enrolled on to the Ulster University Financial Technology BSc (Hons) Part-time Undergraduate course
