And you can play your part too, as our Technology and Resilience Oversight Lead to play a critical role in safeguarding the Society by designing and embedding effective second line oversight across technology, change and operational resilience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a specialist team responsible for providing independent assurance that technology and resilience risks are identified, managed and controlled within our risk appetite and regulatory expectations
  • Lead on themed reviews on technology and operational resilience with the assurance that the right controls are in place, including our Core banking replacement programme – our largest transformation programme in the Society's 150 year history.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience within Operational Resilience, IT Risk or IT Audit
  • Subject matter expert for IT risk, cyber security and change oversight
  • Experience leading thematic assurance or audit reviews, from scoping through to reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • The ability to think strategically, use data to inform decisions, and constructively challenge senior leaders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
