Job Responsibility

  • CFIN Technical Development & Support
  • Core CFIN Development: Design and implement custom ABAP solutions to support Real-Time Replication processes and handle data enrichment logic within the CFIN target system
  • AIF Logic: Develop and implement custom code (BAdIs, Enhancements) within AIF (Application Interface Framework) for handling, correcting, and validating replicated financial documents
  • Complex Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level debugging and resolution for complex CFIN issues, including AIF errors, reconciliation problems, and performance issues across interconnected SAP systems
  • Data Harmonization: Develop ABAP programs for data extraction and transformation critical for master data harmonization in the CFIN environment
  • S/4HANA Development & Optimization
  • ABAP on HANA Mastery: Utilize AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and CDS Views (Core Data Services) to build high-performance data models and analytical reports, adhering to S/4HANA best practices
  • Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces using OData services, SOAP/REST, and IDocs for seamless integration between CFIN, source systems, and external applications
  • Leadership & Quality Assurance
  • Standards & Mentoring: Define and enforce ABAP coding standards and best practices Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, solution designs, and deployment documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of core SAP ABAP experience
  • Specialization in SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN)
  • 4-6 years as an SAP ABAP Developer/Consultant
  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on technical experience with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN) projects
  • Exceptional ability to perform advanced debugging across multiple interconnected SAP systems
  • Deep expertise in ABAP on HANA, including writing AMDPs and proficiently creating and consuming CDS Views
  • Expert command of Object-Oriented ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits, Function Modules, and complex reporting (ALV)
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team
  • Using an agile mind-set and methodology
  • Constant awareness of compliance risks
  • Commitment to act with integrity

Nice to have

  • CFIN Technical Replication Tools: Experience and familiarity with SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication Server) configuration and monitoring, and supporting the technical aspects of the Initial Load process
  • AIF Technical Ownership: Hands-on experience with the technical administration and configuration of AIF (Application Interface Framework) for error handling
