Job Description:

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across ingredient categories, allergens, and processes while working closely with colleagues in Quality, NPD, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supplier Compliance - Manage ingredient standards, certifications, and ensure regulatory compliance across UK, EU, and international markets
  • Auditing & Supplier Performance - Conduct supplier audits annually, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions to maintain high standards
  • Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with NPD and Procurement to align ingredient quality with innovation projects and sourcing timelines
  • System Development - Support the rollout of new specification systems and contribute to ingredient standards development
  • Ingredient Management - Oversee specifications, approvals, and supplier documentation for a wide range of raw materials
  • Problem-Solving - Lead investigations into supplier non-conformances, implementing CAPAs to prevent recurrence

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a Quality Assurance / Food Technologist role within the food industry
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence working cross-functionally and with suppliers
  • A proactive, can-do mindset and willingness to learn quickly

Nice to have:

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory frameworks (UK/EU/US) is desirable but not essential

  • Must have a willingness to attend required training to become a licensed Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist.
  • Graduate of a recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) training program and Certified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is an asset
  • Minimum of one year experience in an MRI setting is preferred
