Job Description:

The IT Quality Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes for the area. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area and requires understanding of how areas collectively integrate within sub-function.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production
Conducts complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments
Ensures project standards and procedures exist and are followed throughout software development life cycle
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests to verify product functionality and performance
Work with Gherkin syntax to write behavior-driven tests (BDD)
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
Develop and implement test strategies, test cases, and automated testing frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Proactively identify defects early in development lifecycle
Maintain and update documentation for test cases, test scripts, and results
Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained
Promote quality best practices, methodologies, and automation across the team
Assess risk when business decisions are made and drive compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

8+ years experience in an IT Quality role
Proven experience as a Software Engineer in Test (SET) or QA Engineer with focus on test automation
Solid experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and writing tests using Gherkin syntax
Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript
Experience in Testing API and good understanding of API automation
Proficiency with SCM (like GIT or Bitbucket)
Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit or TestNG
Experience with CI/CD tools like LightSpeed, K8
SQL Proficiency is a must
Experience with BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber) and frameworks for writing Gherkin syntax-based test cases
Ability to create, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving attitude and ability to debug issues in automation pipelines
Detail-oriented with focus on delivering high-quality results
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for test environments
