Job Responsibility:
Perform installation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC&R, and plumbing systems
Calibrate, inspect, and operate controls, gauges, meters, valves, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems
Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves and other safety equipment
Maintain and stock parts, tools, and supplies
manage inventory and purchase order logs
Use computers to enter, track, and retrieve work-related data
Operate power lifts and other mechanical equipment safely
Conduct life safety checks, including fire pump and generator run tests
Respond to repair requests promptly, ensuring effective resolution
Assist in developing disaster response protocols and facility safety plans
Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating maintenance staff
Ensure delivery of The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards
Requirements:
Required technical qualifications in Electrical, HVAC&R, and Plumbing
Experience as a technician, preferably in the hospitality industry
Good knowledge of building maintenance practices, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs
Proficient with Microsoft Office and building management or maintenance software
Strong communication skills and a respectful attitude to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Passionate about the industry and committed to providing excellent service
Strong team player with leadership abilities and creative problem-solving skills
Problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely solutions
Capability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Maintenance experience and hands-on technical skills
Prior facility management experience is preferred
