Technician

• Perform installation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC&R, and plumbing systems
• calibrate, inspect, and operate controls, gauges, meters, valves, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems
• identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves and other safety equipment
• maintain and stock parts, tools, and supplies
• manage inventory and purchase order logs
• use computers to enter, track, and retrieve work-related data
• operate power lifts and other mechanical equipment safely
• conduct life safety checks, including fire pump and generator run tests
• respond to repair requests promptly, ensuring effective resolution
• assist in developing disaster response protocols and facility safety plans
• support management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating maintenance staff

• Required technical qualifications in Electrical, HVAC&R, and Plumbing
• experience as a technician, preferably in the hospitality industry
• good knowledge of building maintenance practices, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs
• proficient with Microsoft Office and building management or maintenance software
• strong communication skills and a respectful attitude to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
• passionate about the industry and committed to providing excellent service
• strong team player with leadership abilities and creative problem-solving skills
• problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely solutions
• capability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
• strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• maintenance experience and hands-on technical skills

Prior facility management experience is preferred
