Job Description

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are looking to recruit a Technician to join a small but highly experienced team based in Didcot who operate within a highly regulated technical industry. The successful Technician will enjoy regular training to ensure safety and compliance is consistently up to date and will also offer the opportunity to learn and grow into the role. Thompson & Terry Recruitment’s client are a well-established business that operates within a regulated industry and are incredibly passionate about the quality of the work they carry out.

Job Responsibility

Carrying out general workshop operations within a technical and highly regulated environment
Travelling to schools, hospitals, and businesses nationally to carry out collections
Supporting other technicians as part of the training programme until fully trained
Independently carrying out collections and working alongside colleagues depending on the size and complexity of the work
Regular travel and overnight stays (on average 5 nights per month) nationally and very occasionally internationally

Requirements

Technically or practically minded, with the drive to learn and develop over the coming years
Ability to follow strict processes and always remain compliant to regulations
Physically fit as parts of the role are physical
Strong communication skills with a good attention to detail
Full clean UK driving licence (vehicle category B)
