Job Responsibility
Support teaching staff and students across all aspects of the wood occupation curriculum
Prepare and organise materials efficiently to ensure lessons run smoothly
Maintain clean, safe, and professional workshop spaces
Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery, reporting any faults promptly
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and always promote best practice
Keep your professional skills up to date and contribute to continuous improvement
Promote and uphold the College's values, including Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
Undertake any other related duties as required
Requirements
Practical industrial experience within a Wood related trade
Experience with working effectively as part of a team
Awareness of Health & Safety at Work and related issues
Able to use emails and access mandatory training via ILT
An understanding of 'Safeguarding' and its importance within the College
Level 2 Wood Related Trades Qualification
GCSE's Maths and English grade 9-4 or above or equivalent
