The Technician for Field Assurance (FA) is responsible for managing daily operations in the Field Assurance (Complaint Handling) Lab. This includes overseeing the shipping and receiving of complaint samples, conducting image reviews, and maintaining proper documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Document complaint samples received in the Field Assurance Lab for evaluation
Support daily requests for sample return kits, including assembly, shipping domestically and internationally, and maintaining tracking documentation
Ensure accurate and timely shipping of sample return kits and track inventory through approved vendors
Oversee and process image/video review requests, maintain the review tracker, and follow up on pending requests
Maintain good documentation practices (GDP) when recording preliminary and sample analysis results
Escalate unexpected issues to the Supervisor/Manager
Adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with biosafety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure professional working relationships with internal and external customers and support staff
Manage the storage and disposal of complaint samples in accordance with procedures
Support continuous improvement of lab processes
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
Experience in the medical industry (GMP) and/or laboratory environment (preferred)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficient in MS Office
Knowledge of the FedEx shipping system for precise shipping transactions (preferred)
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
Must have proof of Hep B series, be willing to undergo Hep B series, or sign a waiver
Familiarity with biosafety and good laboratory practices
Experience in a clean room environment is preferred
