The Production Technicians will be required to work on 3 shift bases (morning/afternoon/night) while carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and desal with any machine breakdown of necessary upgrades of the equipment. Other remarks: Full time on permanent basis. Shift based. Production Technician Job Scope We are looking for a skilled Production Technician to join our team. The production technician is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring that manufacturing procedures are carried out accurately, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform the necessary maintenance activities on assigned equipment - Maintenance can be related to breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance, Both activities must be performed by following Baxter's Global Procedures, as well as Baxter Malta's Local Procedures
  • Support the Engineering team in installation and validation of New Processes to the Plant, Process improvements, MIPs, SNCs, and NPDs
  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any process specific requirements
  • Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities as instructed by the leading area Maintenance Manager

Requirements

  • Fully qualified at MQF Level 4 of an Electrical Qualification
  • Proven work experience as a production technician or similar role
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
