Job Responsibility:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment
Operates manufacturing equipment and/or distribute material as required by area responsibilities
Performs all duties with strict observance to cGMP's, cSOP's, cGDP's and other internal and external regulations
Operating manufacturing machinery as assigned and with appropriate training
Feeding raw materials into manufacturing machines to maintain production schedules
Checking daily schedules with the Supervisor to ensure the accurate batch and load are manufactured
Loading and unloading materials onto trays, racks, and shelves by hand
Performing general repairs (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic) on production equipment
Installing and/or modifying new or relocated equipment
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
Completing all necessary documentation to align with Company specifications (SOP's)
Performing preventive maintenance work and reporting according to established standards
Managing equipment and tools for daily tasks
Ensuring the work area is clean and orderly
Ordering replacement parts and ensuring timely follow-up on requests
Reading and understanding schematics or blueprints
Understanding basic programming (PLC, Drive Motors, etc.,) and general computer use
Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble
Dismantling devices to remove defective parts
Examining parts for imperfections
Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments
Replacing or repairing defective parts
Installing special functional and structural parts in devices
Lubricating and cleaning parts
Starting devices to test their performance
Performing all tasks following strict safety protocols
Identifying and requesting replacement parts to help engineers with purchase orders
Providing technical support to all assigned areas
Working under minimal supervision and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
Being team-oriented and willing to work extra hours, including holidays, for special projects
Carrying tools and equipment to and from storage areas
Operating and controlling all critical equipment per validated parameters
Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation (preferred) or Mechanics and zero to five years of experience in related areas
Computer literate
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively with the immediate supervisor, peers, and coworkers
Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English/Spanish languages
