We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join Baxter's Oxford site as Production Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry, with full training provided. You will play a key role in the preparation and inspection of compounded medicines, contributing directly to the production of high-quality healthcare products that make a real difference to patients' lives. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00am – 3:00pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).
Job Responsibility
Work in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems
Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products
Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
Carry out environmental monitoring activities
Perform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process
Accurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices
Support various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation
Requirements
Skills and Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry
Background in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment
Knowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
Confidence using Windows-based computer systems
Strong communication skills
Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
