The Technician Apprentice will join the Facilities team at the Baxter Malta Plant to gain hands-on experience in building services and industrial facility systems. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to core utilities and infrastructure supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing, under the guidance of highly experienced and certified technicians. The apprenticeship offers an excellent learning opportunity for a motivated student seeking to develop technical skills in a regulated, safety-driven, and technologically advanced environment.
Job Responsibility
Preventive and corrective maintenance activities on building services systems
Support of HVAC systems, including basic inspection, checks, and documentation
Exposure to compressed air systems, water utilities, and related distribution networks
Assisting with fault identification and troubleshooting activities
Participation in routine inspections, testing, and compliance checks
Maintaining maintenance records, checklists, and basic technical documentation
Adhering strictly to site GMP, safety, and environmental procedures
Requirements
Interest in facilities, utilities, and building systems
Willingness to learn and work hands-on in an industrial environment
Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical principles
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Responsible attitude towards safety and compliance
