At Randstad Defence, we’re proud to be partnering with Electro Optic Systems (EOS)—a leading force in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced defence systems, who are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. If you are a strategic, driven, and experienced Technical Writer looking for your next move this opportunity is for you to join a growing Australian technology company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, edit and write EOS Technical Communications to meet the required need
  • Draft and edit content to ASD S1000D standards and format using the R4i Suite of software and publishing packages
  • Assign activities based on workload and expertise within the team
  • Engage with EOS engineering groups both locally and internationally to ensure requirements are identified and met
  • Engage the Project and ILS Managers regarding their specific Technical Communication requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian citizen
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Disciplined across various defence processes
  • Solution oriented
  • A degree qualification in an applicable field of study
