Job Description

You’ll create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for technical systems, software, and IT processes. This role is all about translating complex technical concepts into documentation that engineers, architects, and IT teams actually use.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including specifications, diagrams, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
  • Translate complex systems, infrastructure, and SDLC concepts into accessible language for technical audiences
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal standards
  • Collaborate closely with IT, software development, and architecture teams
  • Manage documentation within structured, version-controlled repositories using SharePoint and Microsoft 365

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an IT or software development environment
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating and updating technical specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment

Nice to have

  • Experience using Archi for ArchiMate architecture models and technical diagrams
  • Ability to read and understand source code
  • Prior experience in a legal or regulated environment
