Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer Internet of Things to support the connectivity solutions team of Geniox in Zeewolde. In this role, you will create and maintain clear, structured, and technically accurate documentation for both internal teams and external customers. Your work will include High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), customer manuals, deployment guides, and solution overview presentations aimed at non-technical stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, solution architects, and product managers to ensure all documentation accurately represents the Geniox connectivity solutions — including networking infrastructure, managed services, and emerging technologies such as private 5G, IoT, and SD-WAN.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and support materials
  • Develop and update customer-facing documents, including manuals, onboarding guides, and FAQs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed technical information and validate documentation
  • Translate complex connectivity concepts into clear, concise content suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Occasionally create presentation materials to support customer discussions, internal enablement, and pre-sales engagements
  • Ensure all documentation is version-controlled, consistent, and aligned with product and solution updates

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing within the connectivity, networking, or IT infrastructure domains
  • Strong understanding of connectivity technologies such as SD-WAN, private 5G, IoT, network security, or enterprise networking
  • Proven experience producing HLDs and LLDs for internal use or customer delivery
  • Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools (e.g., Confluence, Markdown, Git, Visio, draw.io)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching is a plus
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms and mobile network concepts (e.g., LTE/5G) is an advantage
  • Attention to detail and an ability to structure information logically and clearly
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Verklaring Geen Bezwaar (VGB) – no criminal record permitted
