Job Description:

Create clear and concise help documentation to help users understand and effectively use our software. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality of our Support Center by writing new articles and updating existing ones. This requires a deep understanding of our product and the ability to simplify product features and use cases for a non-technical audience. This is contract work based on an hourly rate with an expected time commitment of 10-12 hours per month. On occasion, we may have project sprints of updates which we’ll coordinate with you ahead of time. After you’re established with us (a couple of months in), you could help look for opportunities to improve articles we haven’t assigned and expand the base hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create clear and concise help documentation to help users understand and effectively use our software
  • Maintain the accuracy and quality of our Support Center by writing new articles and updating existing ones
  • Simplify product features and use cases for a non-technical audience
  • Perform additional research to understand the product feature or use case
  • Ask follow-up questions
  • Create initial drafts
  • Submit drafts for review and incorporate feedback
  • After being established, help look for opportunities to improve articles we haven’t assigned
