The Global Technical Academy is the central hub for technical training across the Nordex Group. We develop and maintain the global training portfolio for service technicians, customers, and subcontractors in more than 40 countries. As the key interface between product development and technical competence building, you ensure that essential knowledge is transferred efficiently and consistently. Your work enables safe, reliable, and high‑quality service on our wind turbines worldwide.

Job Responsibility

  • Review, analyze, and validate the existing training portfolio, identify improvement opportunities across the learning lifecycle, and ensure that all materials meet current requirements
  • Design and develop technical training programs—including Learning Journeys, Training Guidelines, and various training materials—and conduct Training Needs Analyses based on performance data, product updates, and field feedback
  • Define learning objectives, competency levels, and curricula together with Engineering, HSE, Technical Support, and Operations, and translate complex technical information into structured, learner-oriented content
  • Create and implement modern learning formats such as classroom training, blended learning, digital modules, microlearning, and job aids, and evaluate their effectiveness to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead or support international cross-functional projects as project manager or subject-matter consultant and collaborate closely with global trainer communities to validate new content and ensure professional delivery
  • Manage documentation, maintain version control of training materials, and ensure alignment with certification frameworks and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Technical Education, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in technical training development, instructional design, or technical documentation, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Strong project management skills and confidence in working with global and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency with digital learning tools, media creation, and Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to structure complex technical concepts into clear and learner-friendly content
  • Excellent English skills
