Job Description

A fast-growing wealth management firm has built tax consulting into the center of their client strategy — and they've reached a scale where the review function needs its own dedicated senior owner. This is a fully remote, direct-hire opportunity for a senior tax professional who is done being a preparer and wants to own the review process end to end.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviewing complex federal and multi-state returns — HNW individuals, partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts, and estates
  • Signing off
  • Catching errors before they leave the building
  • Communicating feedback directly to preparers (not through management)
  • Helping build the review workflow and quality standards as the tax division continues to scale

Requirements

  • 15–20+ years of tax experience with a heavy review and sign-off focus
  • Active EA or CPA license
  • Independently proficient in CCH Access or a comparable platform
  • Knowledge of complex partnership returns — step-ups in basis, special allocations, multi-state K-1s
  • Ability to give feedback directly to the person who made the mistake, not up the chain
  • Ability to move efficiently under volume
  • International or expat experience is a significant plus

Nice to have

International or expat experience

What we offer

  • $150K base salary + 10% annual bonus (paid February)
  • $400/month health insurance contribution
  • 15 days PTO + sick days + paid holidays
  • 401k with company match
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in the US
