This position is ideal for someone who has some experience working with professional lighting systems — such as a lighting technician, venue technician, or production crew member — and is looking to further develop their technical skills. You will work closely with experienced industry professionals while building your knowledge across a wide range of professional lighting fixtures, control systems and supporting technologies. The role involves working with professional lighting fixtures, control systems and technologies commonly used across theatres, venues, live events, film, and television productions. You will be working closely with our sales and technical teams supporting product demonstrations, training and technical preparation while helping customers and staff get the most out of the lighting technology we represent.
Job Responsibility:
Preparing equipment and systems for product demonstrations and showroom displays
Assisting with building show files to highlight the features and capabilities of new lighting fixtures
Supporting internal training on new products and technology
Assisting with the onboarding of new products and technical resources
Assisting with technical preparation for tradeshows and demonstrations
Assisting with pre-delivery preparation including fixture setup and configuration
Working with the technical and service teams on software and networking support when required
Maintaining an organised and well-presented showroom and demonstration environment
Requirements:
Passion for lighting technology
Some industry experience
Experience working with professional lighting systems (e.g., lighting technician, venue technician, production crew member)
