We are looking for a Technical Support Officer in Brickwork to join us, starting on 17th August 2026! Join us as a Technical Support Officer in Brickwork! You will provide technical support and will contribute to the classroom experience of our talented and enthusiastic learners, within a hardworking team with high standards. As a highly engaged and motivated Technical Support Officer, you will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our learners. Tameside College has an excellent reputation, and this is a real opportunity for you to make a difference in people's lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and promoting a work-ready environment for trainee bricklayers
  • Maintain stock and maintenance records in line with college and departmental requirements
  • Supporting teaching staff to ensure high levels of Health and Safety awareness are upheld
  • Maintaining an inclusive learning environment for all learners

Requirements:

  • Relevant level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of the relevant curriculum
  • Ability to perform a technical support role to contribute to effective learning
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
