We are a leading manufacturer of industrial coding and marking equipment, specializing in Laser Coding and Thermal Transfer Overprinting (TTO) solutions. As we establish our new Hungarian subsidiary, we need a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to ensure our customers receive world-class service and support. You will be a critical part of our local success.
Job Responsibility:
Independently perform on-site equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, repair, and customer operator training across Hungary and the CEE region
Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and on-time completion
Efficiently diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues of medium to high complexity
For complex problems, accurately identify the root cause and effectively escalate to the global technical team with clear documentation
Work closely with the local Sales Manager (AR) and HQ-based Solution Experts (SR) to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and deliverable
Collect and feedback on-site customer needs, product issues, and application insights to the HQ product and R&D teams
Systematically document all service activities, solutions to common problems, and customer requests
Contribute to building a localized knowledge base for the team
Assist in managing the local spare parts inventory
Ensure all operations comply with EU (CE, etc.) and local Hungarian safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field
3-5 years of hands-on field service experience with industrial equipment
Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Proficient with various diagnostic tools and instruments
Fluent in both English and Hungarian, capable of using them for on-site technical communication and report writing
