The Company We’re working closely with a dynamic and well-established technology provider in Newcastle as they continue to expand their technical team. They’re looking for a talented and motivated Technical Support Engineer with a strong grounding across Microsoft cloud technologies, endpoint support, and IT security. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience in technical support who’s looking to deepen their knowledge, work with a modern tech stack, and get involved in a wide range of client environments. You’ll be working as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values initiative, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert 2nd/3rd line technical support across Azure, Microsoft 365, Endpoint/Intune, and security solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to users and clients, resolving issues efficiently and confidently
Own incidents through to resolution, working across a broad portfolio of users and technical environments
Contribute to internal process improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Support new technology rollouts, onboarding, and solution deployment alongside senior engineers
Keep security, performance, and user experience top of mind across all support interactions
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a technical support or service desk environment (MSP experience is a plus)
Hands-on skills with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), Azure AD, Intune, and Autopilot
Solid understanding of endpoint support, networking fundamentals, and IT security (MFA, AV, compliance tools)
Confident working with end users, with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Experience using ITSM tools and following best-practice ticketing processes
