The Kelly Group are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Wembley. You will play a vital role in supporting our field-based install engineers, ensuring that technical issues don’t delay critical work.
Job Responsibility:
Providing real-time technical support – Assist field engineers over the phone or via video calls, helping to resolve issues that may be delaying installation work
Using network mapping software – Analyze and validate issues, using specialized software to find and implement solutions
Troubleshooting and problem-solving – Identify technical faults and provide immediate support to ensure minimal disruption to work
Ensuring smooth communication – Act as a key link between office-based and field engineers, ensuring clear and effective communication
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of telecom networks – Experience with both Overhead (OH) and Underground (UG) networks, preferably fibre optic networks
Excellent telephone communication skills – Able to explain technical issues clearly and confidently to engineers on the field
Basic computer skills – Comfortable using network mapping software and other digital tools for troubleshooting
Problem-solving mindset – Able to think quickly and find solutions under pressure
