Job Description:

Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supply Chain Specialist to lead the development and implementation of automation solutions for Supply Chain and drive end-to-end supply chain efficiency. This role involves leveraging technical and functional expertise for our Infrastructure Supply Chain & Engineering team, bringing thought leadership, and strategic influence to identify and solve problems through designing systems and building solutions across various functions and technologies. Meta’s infrastructure supply chain has global scale, complexity and change to provide unique impact opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • System design and solution development that solve prioritized supply chain problems - from Source to Pay and Inventory Management
  • Establish the end-to-end business process, design, develop and implement sourcing (RFI,RFQ, master data), supplier collaboration/portal for sourcing, procurement, receiving and inventory management through a combination of software development and 3rd party solutions (Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba)
  • Work with cross-functional organizations and platforms to analyze and qualify problems through advanced data analysis techniques
  • Influence solution technology strategy across 3rd party and custom-coded technologies to establish the future state supply chain technology architecture
  • Integrate the solutions within end to end upstream and downstream Meta processes and tools, through APIs, web services, and other integration technologies
  • Own full technical solution and software implementation cycle from prototyping, technical design & development, testing and delivery
  • Contribute to the community through organizational efforts to build and sustain collaborative teams through recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and/or development programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering related to supply chain solutions-architecting, designing, developing, testing and implementing supply chain solutions - both custom and 3rd party
  • Experience in coding & scripting languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, PHP
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in solution development in Source to Pay business domain( Sourcing,Procurement, Receiving) & Inventory Management and Configuring 3rd Party Applications( Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba) and implementing with an in-depth knowledge in supply chain to support automations and transformations
  • Executive communication experience, working with different functions and leadership to ensure progress on goals
  • Experience influencing various stakeholders to align on direction and accountability to solve complex manufacturing and supply chain problems

Nice to have:

  • APICS Certification Preferred: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
