Job Responsibility:
Project managing the design, planning and implementation of small to large-scale audio systems for live events
Act as a team leader for onsite departmental teams
Assist project managers to determine audio equipment needs and technical solutions
Determine and secure resources required for projects
Contribute to technical drawings using Vectorworks
Use simulation software to design PA systems
Ensure planning documentation is communicated to the delivery team
Advanced user of Yamaha, DiGiCo and Allen and Heath mixing consoles
Build and tune PA Systems
Coordinate, deploy and monitor RF mic and IEM systems
Programming comms systems
Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment
Troubleshoots technical issues and resolve problems quickly
Complies with all Company security and safety measures
Reporting all health and safety issues
Ensures equipment is secure from theft and/or damage
Provides excellent service and strives to exceed customer expectations
Maintains a positive relationship with all clients
Collaborates with internal team on event solutions
Understands and fosters the hotel/venue/client relationship
Creates an atmosphere that fosters the development of technical and leadership skills in other employees
Provides mentorship and coaching
Performs advanced work with operations team members
Supervises and directs other technicians during an event
Assists team with proper preparation, security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment
Performs inventory and forecasting of equipment needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred
5+ years of field experience in speciality area is required
3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience
