Provide regular care, in-servicing and maintenance of documentation, telepresence, integrated theatre equipment and instruments for customers in the field. Responsible for providing technical support and expertise to existing and potential customers. Diagnosing and solving issues where necessary. Provide QA control and service support including telephone/email support. Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all operations and outcomes conform to AS/NZS3551 and KARL STORZ Australia ISO9001 policy. Ensure assessment and maintenance reports are sent to customers in a timely manner. Ensure all work is logged and all appropriate documentation completed in a timely manner to enable efficient processing of jobs with the use of internal systems such as Salesforce and SAP. Work closely with the Business Units to build a complete offering for customers, from sale to service.

Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in electrical, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering is preferred, however not essential
Electrical Safety Testing certification
Previous experience in medical devices and instrumentation
Sound troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills, being able to work with different personalities in a hospital/ theatre environment
Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
Familiarity with hospital/surgical environments and Australian standards AS3551 and AS3200 will also be highly regarded
The ability to understand and impart technical knowledge across a broad portfolio of products
