Cloud Supply Chain Global Operations (CSGO) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Job Responsibility:
Own end‑to‑end Pre‑Dock execution for assigned deployments, ensuring all readiness activities (materials, provisioning, cabling, configuration, data readiness) are completed prior to rack arrival to meet CTD and SLA commitments
Serve as the single‑threaded owner for Pre‑Dock outcomes, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers, and driving mitigation across CSCP, CMOF, DC Ops, Engineering, and regional deployment teams
Drive predictable cycle‑time performance, leveraging prioritization signals and operational data to sequence work based on business impact, deployment criticality, and capacity constraints
Deliver actionable insights and executive‑ready reporting on Pre‑Dock health, CTD performance, SLA attainment, and escapes—translating complex operational data into clear narratives for leadership and partners
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce Pre‑Dock cycle time and variability through process standardization, automation, tooling enhancements, and elimination of manual handoffs
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Experience in cloud infrastructure, data center deployment, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or readiness engineering environments, preferably supporting large‑scale, global deployments
Demonstrated success owning complex, cross‑functional execution efforts with multiple dependencies across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience using data to prioritize work, identify risks, and drive operational decisions (e.g., cycle time, SLA, readiness metrics)
