Job Description

The Technical Solution Manager (TSM) (m/f/d) is responsible for the adequacy and compliance of the proposed Professional Mobile Radio/Agnet TETRA/Agnet MCX solutions with customer functional and operational requirements. He/She shall provide technical solutions, architectures and information in bids, projects and in running operation. He/She shall provide technical investigation support to the Field Support Engineers and participate actively in the customer support.

Job Responsibility

  • Support projects in the Hungarian and South-Europe/South-Eastern Europe regions
  • Definition of the solution architecture and the technical specifications of the solution, based on customer requirements
  • Management of technical reviews, technical changes and technical negotiation with the customer
  • Coordination of technical activities and stakeholders
  • Support to System Integration and System Acceptance and to the customer for network operation planning
  • Dimensioning of the network elements and definition of their configuration
  • Carry out installations and upgrades, customize, reshape, enhance procedures
  • The TSM actively participates in the entire sales process including, solution marketing, bid preparation and development and submission of technical solutions
  • Supports the preparation for decision on go/no go as well as bid/no bid
  • As part of the EOD team provides duty service, giving 7/24 emergency support to the customers
  • Support of testbed customer testing and testbed internal tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunications or IT engineering
  • Knowledge of Mobile Communications Systems and Networks both current and future visions & trends. In particular knowledge of EPC and LTE
  • Professional experience (5+years) in IP networking and firewalls
  • Professional experience (5+years) in implementation or support of mobile telecommunications systems (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, TETRA)
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux distributions, virtualization
  • Understanding and knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerizations, microservices, load-balancing technics
  • Process and application knowledge in the use of trouble ticket systems and CRM systems
  • Able to work independently or in a team
  • Service and customer oriented, have a sense of responsibility
  • Ability to document clearly and factually
  • Class B driving license
  • Fluent Hungarian and good English language skills
  • A Hungarian security clearance is required for this position or must be issued by the recognized authorities.
