Job Description:

Provides support to the Animal Nutrition Sales and Marketing group of the North American Region by providing technical sales training and responding to customer inquiries involving poultry nutrition, gut health, management, feed formulation, ingredient quality and feed quality control services.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate with Regional Technical Director and Regional Business Directors to provide nutritional and gut health, technical and operational consultation to Evonik customers
Provide nutritional and gut health consulting services to priority, target customers
Advise and provide feedback to management teams in identifying new opportunities for customers
Train Business Managers in correct use of technical information, product and service positioning/selling
Assist in sales calls with Business Managers to provide technical expertise
Assist in development of research protocols
Monitor progress of research trials at university and commercial levels
Maintain technical competence through attendance and participation in scientific sessions
Develop strong working relationship with poultry nutrition/gut health professionals
File timely reports on customer visits and professional meetings

Requirements:

PhD degree in Poultry Nutrition with knowledge/experience in gut health
Demonstrated competence in conducting nutrition and gut health research as evidenced by scientific publications in which the incumbent was the principal investigator
Excellent communication skills
Strong teamwork and clear communication skills
Good time management skills
Good stewardship of company resources
Average of 50% travel required
