Job Description

The Technical Service Support will work alongside the Remote Sales Representatives, handling service contract related tasks, supporting new business opportunities and up-selling to existing customers. The role is part of the technical services team, working in close collaboration with other business units and cross functional teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Send quotes to customers for service contract renewals
  • Ensures repeat contract renewal by understanding customer buying decisions making process & patterns
  • Submit accurate weekly forecasts, along with any other reporting requirements, in conjunction with Baxter’s CRM
  • Refer on internal leads when appropriate to Remote Sales Representatives
  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems
  • Complete customer contract/supplier forms and certification requests
  • Support projects, campaigns, documentation and process improvement
  • Closely collaborates BU’s

Requirements

  • Proven experience in service contract administration
  • preferably within a Corporate environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship building skills required
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills required
  • Fluency in local Market language
  • Strong negotiation skills & Ability to close deals with customers
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done

  • Optionally experience in the Medical Devices industry

  • Responsible for inbound and outbound calls regarding patient-specific immunotherapy
  • Assists veterinarians and veterinary staff regarding infectious disease point of care test protocols, reading results, specificity/sensitivity, and accuracy
  • Promotes health care and disease prevention
  • Maintains diligent recordkeeping within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database system
