This is a unique opportunity for a licensed Sparky looking to step off the tools and into a high-impact technical role within a leading Australian electrical manufacturing company. The Technical Sales Role acts as a bridge between complex electrical engineering and commercial success. Instead of standard sales, this role requires a candidate to utilize their deep understanding of electrical systems to provide mission-critical solutions—from fire-rated enclosures to advanced automation systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as primary technical point of contact
  • Provide detailed product advice and customized specifications to clients
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure product configurations meet customer requirements
  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of industrial and commercial accounts
  • Prepare technical quotes, proposals, and stay updated on industry standards and regulations

Requirements

  • Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician)
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear benefits for customers

  • Join client connections, pitches etc. to provide sustainability positioning and market differentiation
