Job Responsibility:
Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the industrial and construction sectors

Account Management: Maintain and grow existing relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, pricing fluctuations in the steel market, and competitor activity
Collaboration: Work closely with the internal production and estimation teams to ensure accurate quotes and timely delivery
Requirements:
Industry Expertise: Proven experience within the steel or metals industry is highly preferred
Technical Sales Background: Ability to read blueprints, understand metallurgical properties, or discuss engineering specifications
Relationship Builder: A natural ability to build rapport with everyone from shop floor managers to executive-level decision-makers
Self-Starter: Highly disciplined and motivated to manage a large geographic territory with minimal supervision
Communication: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to simplify technical jargon for various stakeholders
