We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow a high-value industrial territory in the Regina and Estevan area. This is a consultative, "trusted advisor" role within the Downstream division, focusing on specialized chemical applications for oil refineries, hydrogen plants, and large-scale manufacturing. You will be the primary point of contact for complex water treatment solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability for your clients.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a portfolio of established industrial accounts, acting as a technical consultant for water treatment processes
Conduct regular on-site sampling and testing of boiler water, cooling systems, and wastewater to ensure peak performance
Identify and sell new applications and specialty chemical solutions within existing accounts to improve client ROI
Partner with Field Service Reps to monitor site conditions and prevent corrosion, fouling, or system downtime
Communicate technical value to plant managers, engineers, and operations teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Engineering OR an Advanced Technical Diploma (e.g., Chemical Engineering Technologist)
3–7+ years of technical sales or field service in Industrial Water Treatment
Familiarity with boiler/cooling tower chemistry, wastewater treatment, and specialty chemicals (flocculants/coagulants)
Strong relationship-building skills
ability to pivot from the plant floor to the boardroom
Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
