As part of its expansion in Malaysia, the company is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Consultant who combines strong business development capabilities with consultative pre-sales expertise. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy identifying new business opportunities, engaging C-level stakeholders, and translating complex technical solutions into measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and partnering with technical delivery teams to position end-to-end technology solutions.
Job Responsibility
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market accounts in Malaysia
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology stakeholders
Develop and execute account strategies to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth
Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Engage customers to understand business challenges and technology requirements
Conduct discovery workshops and consultative engagements with business and technical stakeholders
Design and position solutions across areas such as: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, Data Platforms & Data Engineering, Cloud Solutions, Application Modernization, Automation & Digital Transformation
Develop solution presentations, proposals, RFP responses, and business cases
Deliver compelling solution demonstrations, presentations, and executive briefings
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking activities
Build strategic partnerships within the technology ecosystem
Requirements
Bachelor's/Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
5+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, solution consulting, pre-sales, or technical business development
Proven experience selling technology solutions within a System Integrator (SI), IT Services, Technology Consulting, Cloud, Data, or Digital Transformation environment
Strong understanding of one or more of the following: AI & Generative AI Solutions

Demonstrated ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
